No Prom for the Homeless

No Prom for the Homeless was a smashing success last night at the Chatham Community Center - what a great place for this kind of event. A quick tour of the activities.

In the gym, the mechanical bull,


the obstacle course,


and the velcro wall.


On the main floor, we had tattoos,


t-shirts,


and one of many food stations.


Downstairs, there was a videogame tournament,


Rock Band and Guitar Hero,


and a room full of ping pong, pool, air hockey and more.


And upstairs was a pretty intense dance party


More than 300 students attended from all over the Cape. The event raised more than $8000 to benefit Homeless Not Helpless.

All-Cape Battle of the Bands

D-Y hosted this years All-Cape Battle of the Bands, with us in a supporting role - especially Brenna on the lights and MacKenzie as a judge. Ten acts competed and all were exceptional. Mocha Joe and the Creamers of Barnstable HS were this years champions. Over a thousand dollars was raised for Doctors without Borders and My Sister's Keeper.
